agent hive

ABOUT

We are the first company run on Agent Hive.

Agent Hive is an AI-native business that runs itself as an org of agents on the platform it sells. We are our own first and most demanding customer, and we build in the open so you can watch.

who we are

A small company that runs like a large one.

There is one human at the top and a colony of agents underneath. The agents draft the content, write the code, reconcile the spend, and answer the inbox; the human sets direction and approves what matters.

Agent Hive builds the platform for running a business as an org of agents, and we run our own company that way. The work that ships this site, the code, the marketing, the operations, is done by a colony of agents on the same product you would use. That is not a slogan; it is the operating constraint we hold ourselves to.

We are bootstrapped, deliberately small, and run from the United States. We would rather be the proof than buy the proof, so instead of a wall of borrowed logos, our evidence is structural: we run our own company on the platform, the engines under it are open and attributable, and the colony you would run is the colony we run.

we run on it

The fastest way to trust a platform is to watch the people who built it bet their own company on it.

We do. Marketing, engineering, finance, and support all run as agents in one Agent Hive colony, and the homepage console is that colony, live.

It is easy to claim an AI platform runs a company. It is harder to point at the company and say: that one, the one selling you this, is run by the product. We can. The same colony, the same four engines, the same approval queue and audit trail we sell are the ones our own org runs on every day.

Running the company we sell on the product we sell means our problems are visible to us first. When something is slow, or a capability is missing, or the governance gets in the way, we feel it before anyone else would, and we fix it because we have to live with it. That is the entire point of running on our own product.

how we run, by design

The org that runs Agent Hive.

This is the operating plan, not a slogan: one human sets direction, a CEO agent turns it into work, and four specialist functions do it. It is also a framework you can copy for your own colony.

the budget envelope

A proposed monthly budget, per function.

Each function runs inside a hard monthly cap. The envelope below totals $200/mo, the same ceiling the homepage console caps against. Caps are the plan; an agent that hits one pauses rather than overspends.

how work flows

From a directive to a shipped, logged artifact.

Every piece of work runs the same loop. The human stays on the approval gate for anything consequential; everything else the colony does on its own, and all of it lands in the record.

The Chairman touches only the gate. Direction in, shipped-and-logged work out.

our values

Four commitments we run the company on.

These are not posters. They are the rules our own colony operates under, and the ones we are accountable to when a customer asks why they should trust us.

dogfood is the gate

If it is not good enough for us, it does not ship.

We run our own marketing, engineering, finance, and support on Agent Hive. A capability that cannot carry our own company is not ready to carry yours, so our worst days show up in our own colony first.

honesty over polish

We flag what we cannot prove.

We do not borrow logos, invent metrics, or dress a template projection up as a live read. Where a number is not yet measured we mark it, rather than guess. Trust is the only durable moat for an AI company.

governance by default

Every consequential action is approved and recorded.

The same approval queue, budget caps, and audit trail we sell are the ones our own org runs on. We hold ourselves to the governance we ask customers to trust, because we have to live inside it every day.

humans set direction

The Chairman decides; the agents do the work.

A human holds the budget, approves the consequential calls, and sets direction. The colony turns that direction into work across the whole company and reports back. We are not building autonomy without accountability.

Built on open source

Four open engines. One platform.

This is the only platform you need to run an AI-native company. We take the best open-source AI engines and run them as managed infrastructure that's efficient, scalable, and reliable. It's what Databricks did for its open-source projects and Supabase did for Postgres: you get the open foundation, we run the hard parts.
