Is the Academy free?
Path 1, Chairman Fundamentals, is free in full, and there is a standing library of free lessons open to anyone. The later paths publish on the dates shown on each path. You can learn the entire foundational job without paying anything.
Do I need a colony to take the lessons?
No. Every Path 1 lesson reads without an account. The copy-paste prompts are written to run verbatim once you start a colony, so the lessons are useful both as reading and as a script you follow with a live colony open beside you.
How long does Path 1 take?
About 84 minutes of reading across eight lessons. You can do it in one sitting, but most Chairmen read a lesson, run its prompts in their colony, and come back for the next one over their first week.
Who is the Academy for?
Anyone running or planning to run a colony. The audience is technical-adjacent: comfortable with tools like Stripe, GitHub, and Notion, but not necessarily writing code.
