How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerEmployee asks a question in TeamsMicrosoft Teams
  • ActionSearch HR Confluence space for relevant pagesConfluenceConfluence
  • LogicBranch on whether a relevant page was found
  • ActionDraft grounded answer with citations via OpenAIOpenAI
  • OutputReply in the Teams thread with answer and source linksMicrosoft Teams

What it does

Gives employees a Teams chatbot that answers questions about health plans, PTO, parental leave, 401(k), and other benefits using your HR Confluence space as the single source of truth. Every answer links to the Confluence page it came from, so people can verify and read more.

When to use it

When HR fields the same benefits questions over and over and your answers already live in Confluence. Use it to deflect routine tickets while keeping responses accurate and auditable instead of letting people guess or rely on stale screenshots.

How it works

  1. 1An employee messages the bot in Teams (a question or @mention).
  2. 2The flow searches the designated HR Confluence space for the most relevant pages.
  3. 3It checks whether any page meaningfully matches the question.
  4. 4If matches exist, OpenAI drafts a grounded answer constrained to the retrieved text and appends source links.
  5. 5If nothing matches, it returns a clear "I don't have that documented" message and suggests contacting HR.
  6. 6The answer is posted back into the same Teams thread.
