What it does

Runs on a schedule to batch-process the previous day's meetings. It produces one consolidated digest in Slack and creates Asana tasks for the follow-ups across all those calls, so the team starts the day knowing what was decided and what they owe.

When to use it

Ideal for teams that hold many short meetings and don't want a separate notification per call. Use it when you prefer a single morning roundup over real-time per-meeting alerts.

How it works

  1. 1A scheduled trigger fires each morning.
  2. 2The workflow lists all Zoom recordings from the prior day and retrieves each transcript.
  3. 3OpenAI summarizes every meeting and pulls action items with owners and due dates.
  4. 4The summaries are merged into a single formatted digest.
  5. 5The digest is posted to a Slack channel as a threaded message.
  6. 6Each extracted action item is created as an Asana task in the team project, assigned to its owner.
