Hourly release bake monitor with auto-rollback on regression
On a schedule, samples the crash-free rate of every release still inside its bake window and automatically rolls back any Vercel deployment whose health degrades.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerHourly schedule
- ActionList active Vercel deployments in bake windowVercel
- ActionPull Sentry crash-free rate and baseline trendSentry
- LogicFlag releases past the regression threshold
- ActionRoll back flagged deployments in VercelVercel
- OutputPage on-call via PagerDuty if rollback failsPagerDuty
What it does
Continuously watches all releases currently in their bake window rather than gating a single promotion. Each hour it re-checks crash-free health and acts on any that have started regressing since deploy.
When to use it
Use it when releases ramp gradually and problems surface an hour or two in, not at promotion time. Good for teams that promote optimistically and want a safety net that keeps watching after the deploy event.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger fires hourly.
- 2The flow lists active Vercel production deployments still within their configured bake window.
- 3For each, it pulls the latest Sentry crash-free sessions rate and the trend versus the deploy-time baseline.
- 4A branch flags any release whose rate dropped past the regression threshold.
- 5For flagged releases it triggers a Vercel rollback to the previous healthy deployment.
- 6If a rollback call fails or the regression is severe, it pages the on-call rotation via PagerDuty with the version and metrics.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect SentryErrors, performance, releases.
- 2Connect VercelDeploys, runtime logs, analytics.
- 3Connect PagerDutyIncidents, on-call, escalations.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
