Morning Calendar and Email Briefing to Slack
Each morning, compiles your day's meetings and overnight unread email into a single prioritized briefing posted to Slack.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekday morning schedule fires
- ActionFetch today's calendar eventsGoogle Calendar
- ActionFetch overnight unread emailGmail
- ActionSynthesize prioritized briefingOpenAI
- OutputPost briefing to SlackSlack
What it does
On a daily schedule it pulls today's Google Calendar events and overnight unread Gmail, then has OpenAI build one digest: a timeline of meetings with a short prep note each, plus a ranked list of emails that look like they need a same-day response. The whole thing lands in your Slack DM before you open your laptop.
When to use it
When you start the day reconstructing context across calendar and inbox. This collapses both into a 30-second read so you walk in knowing what matters.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger fires every weekday morning.
- 2Google Calendar returns today's events.
- 3Gmail returns unread messages received since the last briefing.
- 4OpenAI synthesizes a structured briefing: meeting timeline with prep notes and a prioritized reply list.
- 5The briefing is posted to your Slack channel or DM as a formatted message.
