AI AGENTS
Quote Chaser Agent: Follow Up With Vendors Who Haven't Quoted
On a schedule, finds vendors whose quote deadline has passed without a reply and sends a polite, context-aware follow-up email.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerScheduled follow-up check
- LogicFind overdue vendors, branch on follow-up count
- ActionAgent drafts and sends follow-up via GmailGmail
- ActionUpdate follow-up count and deadline in CodaCoda
- OutputEscalate repeat non-responders to buyer in SlackSlack
What it does
This agent checks the Coda outreach log on a schedule for vendors past their response-by date with no quote received. For each, it drafts and sends a tailored follow-up email referencing the original RFQ. If a vendor has already been chased once and still hasn't replied, it escalates to the buyer in Slack instead of emailing again.
When to use it
Use it to keep sourcing timelines on track without a buyer manually tracking who is late. It recovers stalled bids and surfaces unresponsive vendors so the buyer can drop or replace them.
How it works
- 1A schedule fires (trigger), e.g. every weekday morning.
- 2A logic step pulls vendors past deadline with no quote and branches on follow-up count.
- 3For first-time laggards, the agent drafts a context-aware nudge and Gmail sends it.
- 4Coda is updated with the follow-up count and new deadline.
- 5For repeat non-responders, the agent posts an escalation to the buyer in Slack recommending whether to drop the vendor.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
