  • ActionExtract action items with owners and due datesOpenAI
  • LogicFlag items missing a clear owner
  • ActionCreate an Asana task per action itemAsanaAsana
  • OutputEmail task recap to host via OutlookOutlook

What it does

Closes the loop between talking and doing. Instead of just summarizing, this flow extracts each action item from the meeting transcript, opens a corresponding task in Asana with an assignee and due date, then emails the host an Outlook recap confirming exactly what was created — so commitments made on the call become tracked work automatically.

When to use it

Use it for operational and project meetings where follow-through matters and the team runs work in Asana. Choose this over a notes-only brief when the real risk is action items getting lost after the call ends.

How it works

  1. 1A Zoom `recording.completed` webhook provides the transcript.
  2. 2OpenAI extracts a list of discrete action items, each with an owner name and a due date when stated.
  3. 3A loop iterates the list; items with no clear owner are flagged rather than dropped.
  4. 4For each item an Asana task is created with title, assignee, and due date.
  5. 5Outlook emails the host a recap that lists every task and links back to the Asana project.
