Low-Stock Threshold Alert to the Teams Channel
Scans the Airtable inventory base on a schedule and posts a Teams alert listing every SKU that has dropped below its reorder point, so purchasing acts before a stockout.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

What it does
On a set schedule, this workflow checks every inventory record against its per-SKU reorder threshold and posts a consolidated low-stock report to a Microsoft Teams channel. Each line shows the item, its bin, current quantity, and the gap below reorder point.
When to use it
Use it when stockouts catch the team by surprise and reorders happen too late. Run it nightly or every shift change so purchasing and the floor lead see exactly what needs replenishing before the shelf goes empty.
How it works
- 1A schedule trigger fires at the chosen interval (e.g., start of each shift).
- 2The flow reads all active inventory rows from Airtable, including quantity and reorder-point fields.
- 3A logic step filters to only SKUs where on-hand is at or below the reorder point.
- 4If the filtered list is empty, the run ends quietly; otherwise it continues.
- 5An OpenAI step formats the survivors into a ranked, readable digest sorted by severity.
- 6The bot posts the digest to the purchasing Teams channel.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
