Clause-risk triage agent for executed agreements into Notion
An agent reads each newly signed PDF, flags unusual auto-renew, liability, or termination clauses against your playbook.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew executed agreement added to DropboxDropbox
- ActionAgent extracts register fields and clause text with OpenAIOpenAI
- LogicGrade risk against playbook and branch red vs green
- ActionEscalate red-graded contracts to legal Slack channelSlack
- OutputFile register entry and risk note in NotionNotion
What it does
Goes beyond field extraction to judgment. For each executed agreement, an agent extracts the standard register fields and then compares the auto-renew, termination, and liability language against your contracting playbook, grading each contract green, amber, or red and explaining why. The result is both a register row and a reviewer-ready note.
When to use it
Use it when volume makes manual legal review impractical but you still need a human looking at the risky ones. The agent triages so reviewers spend time only on amber and red contracts instead of reading every page.
How it works
- 1A new file in the Dropbox executed folder triggers the agent.
- 2The agent extracts the standard fields: parties, effective date, term, and auto-renew terms.
- 3It evaluates clause language against the configured playbook and assigns a risk grade with rationale and specific quoted clauses.
- 4A branch escalates red-graded contracts immediately to the legal channel; green ones file silently.
- 5The agent writes a Notion page per contract with the register fields, risk grade, flagged clauses, and recommended next step.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect DropboxFiles and folders.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect NotionPages, databases, comments.
- 4Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 5Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 6Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 7Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
