Flag unsigned incoming contracts and alert the deal owner in Slack
Inspects each new Dropbox contract for a missing signature or counter-signature and posts a Slack alert tagging the deal owner so unsigned agreements don't get filed as complete.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew file added to Dropbox /Contracts treeDropbox
- ActionDetect signature blocks and missing signers with OpenAIOpenAI
- LogicBranch: continue only if a signature is missing
- ActionMap counterparty to deal owner
- OutputPost Slack alert tagging the deal ownerSlack
What it does
Catches contracts that get saved before they're fully executed. It checks whether all required signatures are present and, when one is missing, pings the responsible owner in Slack instead of letting the file sit as if it were done.
When to use it
When signed and unsigned contracts share the same Dropbox folder and partially executed agreements slip through as final. Best for revenue or legal-ops teams enforcing a "fully signed before filed" rule.
How it works
- 1A new file added to the Dropbox `/Contracts` tree triggers the run.
- 2OpenAI analyzes the document for signature blocks and reports which parties have signed and which are missing.
- 3A branch routes the run: fully executed documents pass silently; documents with a missing signature continue.
- 4The workflow maps the counterparty to a deal owner from a lookup table.
- 5A Slack message is posted to the deals channel tagging the owner, naming the missing signer, and linking the Dropbox file.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect DropboxFiles and folders.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
