How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerNew contract PDF in DropboxDropboxDropbox
  • ActionCheck signatures, initials, and dates with OpenAIOpenAI
  • LogicFully executed?
  • OutputAlert deal owner in Slack with what's missingSlack

What it does

Catches contracts that get filed before they are actually fully executed. Every PDF dropped into the contracts folder is checked for the expected signature blocks and dates; anything missing a counterparty signature or date triggers a targeted Slack alert so it gets chased before it is treated as closed.

When to use it

Use it when 'signed' contracts sometimes turn out to be missing a signature page, an initialed schedule, or a date — and that gap only surfaces months later. This gives the deal owner an immediate, specific heads-up at filing time.

How it works

  1. 1A new PDF in the Dropbox contracts folder triggers the run.
  2. 2OpenAI inspects the document for all required signature blocks, initials, and execution dates.
  3. 3A logic step decides: fully executed, or missing one or more required marks.
  4. 4If complete, the run ends quietly with no notification.
  5. 5If incomplete, the output posts a Slack message naming the document, the counterparty, and exactly which signatures or dates are missing.
