How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerNew PDF in Dropbox folderDropboxDropbox
  • ActionRead printed page numbers and page-of-total markersOpenAI
  • LogicDetect gaps, duplicates, and reversals against declared total
  • OutputMove flagged docs to reassembly-review with placement noteDropboxDropbox

What it does

This workflow focuses on one failure mode that simpler signature checks miss: pages returned in the wrong order, duplicated, or dropped entirely during scanning or merging. It reads the printed page numbers and the document's expected count and reports any sequence break.

When to use it

Use it when signers scan multi-page agreements on office equipment that shuffles or skips sheets, or when a merge step concatenates pages out of order. Catching a reordered exhibit before filing prevents an invalid execution.

How it works

  1. 1A new PDF in the watched Dropbox folder triggers the run.
  2. 2The document is downloaded and each page is read by OpenAI to capture its printed page number and any "page X of Y" marker.
  3. 3A logic step reconstructs the intended sequence and detects gaps, duplicates, and reversals against the declared total.
  4. 4Documents with a clean sequence pass through untouched.
  5. 5Documents with ordering problems are moved to a Dropbox `reassembly-review` folder with a note describing the exact out-of-place pages.
