How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerSchedule fires during close window
  • ActionPull open uncoded spend from SnowflakeSnowflakeSnowflake
  • LogicAggregate open count and amount per owner
  • ActionUpsert one Monday item per owner with statusmonday.com
  • OutputPost board snapshot to SlackSlack

What it does

It turns the month-end accrual chase into a trackable Monday board. It reads the list of uncoded or unaccrued transactions from Snowflake, then for each department owner it creates or updates a Monday item showing open count, total dollar value, and a status column. Finance gets a single board to watch the chase burn down instead of digging through spreadsheets.

When to use it

Use when your close process needs visibility and accountability — managers want to see who is outstanding and treasurers want the at-risk accrual total in one place. Best when Monday is your work-tracking tool.

How it works

  1. 1A schedule fires during the close window.
  2. 2Snowflake returns open uncoded spend joined to owner.
  3. 3A logic step aggregates per owner: open count, total amount, oldest item age.
  4. 4A Monday action upserts one item per owner (create if new, update status and totals if it already exists), marking owners with zero open items as Done.
  5. 5An output writes a board snapshot to the close channel via Slack.
