PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Zoom Kickoff Commitments to Monday Deliverables Board
Listens for completed Zoom kickoff recordings, extracts every spoken owner-and-date commitment from the transcript, and creates a tracked item per deliverable on a Monday board.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerZoom recording + transcript completedZoom
- ActionFetch full call transcriptZoom
- ActionExtract owner+date commitmentsOpenAI
- LogicDrop rows missing owner or date
- OutputCreate one Monday item per commitmentmonday.com
What it does
When a Zoom kickoff call finishes and its transcript is ready, this workflow reads the transcript, finds every concrete commitment a participant made (the work, the named owner, and the due date), and writes each one as a structured item on a Monday board. No more re-listening to recordings to remember who promised what.
When to use it
Run it for any recurring project kickoff or client onboarding call where decisions and action items are agreed verbally but never written down. Ideal for PMs and account leads who lose 30 minutes after every call transcribing commitments by hand.
How it works
- 1A Zoom recording-completed event fires once the transcript is processed.
- 2The workflow pulls the full transcript text from Zoom.
- 3OpenAI extracts a clean list of commitments, each with task, owner name, and due date, discarding chatter and tentative statements.
- 4A logic step drops any row missing an owner or a date so the board stays clean.
- 5For each surviving commitment, a Monday item is created with owner, due date, and a link back to the source recording.
