Zoom Sprint-Retro Audio to Themed Linear Action Board
Transcribes a recorded Zoom sprint retrospective, clusters the discussion into themes, and creates assigned Linear issues for each action item with the spoken owner attached.

What it does
This workflow turns a finished Zoom sprint-retro recording into a fully populated Linear board. It pulls the recording's transcript, groups the conversation into retro themes (what went well, what hurt, follow-ups), extracts every concrete action item with its named owner, and files each one as a Linear issue assigned to that person under the right theme label.
When to use it
Use it when your team runs retros over Zoom and action items routinely get lost in the recording. Instead of someone re-watching the call and hand-typing a board, the action items land in Linear minutes after the meeting ends, already owned and labeled.
How it works
- 1A Zoom recording-completed event fires for a retro call.
- 2The workflow fetches the cloud recording transcript from Zoom.
- 3OpenAI clusters the transcript into themes and extracts action items, each with an owner name and priority.
- 4A logic step filters out chatter and keeps only items that have a clear owner and verb.
- 5For each surviving item, a Linear issue is created with the theme as a label and the owner mapped to a Linear assignee.
- 6The new board section is posted back as a confirmation.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect ZoomMeetings, recordings, transcripts.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect LinearIssues, projects, cycles, triage.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
