What it does

Adds an automated first-pass linguistic QA before human sign-off. When a translation is submitted, an agent compares it to the locale glossary and brand tone guide, flags term mismatches, untranslated segments, and tone drift, and decides whether the string is clean enough to advance.

When to use it

Use it on high-volume localization where a senior reviewer cannot eyeball every string. The agent catches the mechanical issues (wrong glossary term, placeholder left in, register too casual) so human reviewers focus on judgment calls.

How it works

  1. 1A linguist-board card status change to Submitted fires the trigger.
  2. 2The agent pulls the source string, submitted translation, target language, glossary, and tone guide.
  3. 3It evaluates glossary adherence, placeholder integrity, and tone, producing a pass or fail with itemized notes.
  4. 4A branch routes clean strings to status Ready for Human Review and failing strings back to In Progress.
  5. 5On failure it comments the specific fixes on the card and DMs the linguist; on pass it notes the auto-check result in #localization.
