CONTENT CREATION
Publish a Loom walkthrough as a Notion knowledge base page
On a manual run with a Loom video URL, transcribe it, summarize it into a titled how-to with key takeaways, and publish a fully formatted page into your Notion knowledge base.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerManual run with a Loom video URL
- ActionFetch transcript and chapter timestampsLoom
- ActionLLM writes summary, steps, and jump linksOpenAI
- ActionCreate formatted page in Notion KB databaseNotion
- OutputReturn published Notion page URLNotion
What it does
Takes a single Loom video URL you provide, pulls its transcript, and uses an LLM to produce a Notion-ready how-to: a clear title, a TL;DR summary, numbered steps with timestamp links, and a key-takeaways callout. It then creates the page directly in your Notion knowledge base database.
When to use it
When a team member records a one-off explainer or onboarding video in Loom and wants it captured as a searchable Notion doc immediately, without waiting on a docs backlog. Run it ad hoc whenever you have a video worth keeping.
How it works
- 1You trigger the workflow manually and paste a Loom video URL.
- 2Fetch the transcript and chapter timestamps for that recording from Loom.
- 3An LLM writes a structured how-to with a summary, numbered steps, and timestamped jump links back into the video.
- 4Create a new page in the target Notion database with the embedded Loom, the formatted body, and tag properties.
- 5Return the published Notion page URL as the workflow output.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect LoomVideo transcripts, libraries.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect NotionPages, databases, comments.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
