  • ActionRead card name and linked opportunity IDTrelloTrello
  • LogicMap completed milestone to CRM field or stage
  • ActionUpdate the Salesforce opportunitySalesforce
  • OutputPost progress alert to the deal Slack channelSlack

What it does

Keeps the internal CRM honest with what's actually happening in the shared plan. As milestone cards on the buyer-facing Trello board get checked off, the deal's Salesforce record and the rep team stay in sync automatically, so no one has to re-key status.

When to use it

Use it once a mutual action plan board exists and you want completion signals to flow back into Salesforce reporting and into the deal team's Slack channel. Great for managers who forecast off CRM stage data and hate stale opportunity records.

How it works

  1. 1A Trello card on a mutual action plan board is moved to the Done list, firing the trigger.
  2. 2The workflow reads the card name and the linked opportunity ID stored on the board.
  3. 3A branch checks which milestone completed and maps it to the right Salesforce field or next stage.
  4. 4The matching Salesforce opportunity is updated with the completion date and progress.
  5. 5A summary of the milestone and remaining steps is posted to the deal's Slack channel.
  6. 6If the completed card was the final signature milestone, the message flags the deal as ready to close.
