MARKET RESEARCH
Monthly narrative-shift tracker comparing this month to last
Monthly, gathers a category's fresh press via Brave, compares the dominant themes against the prior month's stored brief.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerMonthly schedule fires
- ActionBrave Search: past month of category pressBrave Search
- ActionRead prior month's brief from CodaCoda
- LogicPair current coverage against prior baseline
- ActionOpenAI drafts rise/fade/emerging diffOpenAI
- OutputWrite comparison report as new baseline to CodaCoda
What it does
Detects how the conversation around a category is shifting over time. Each month it collects fresh Brave coverage, summarizes the current dominant narratives, reads back the previous month's stored brief from Coda, and asks OpenAI to produce a diff: which themes gained momentum, which declined, and which are brand new, each backed by sources from the current month.
When to use it
You need to show trajectory, not just a snapshot, in a category you cover monthly, so leadership sees direction of travel. Good for strategy, research, and content-planning teams.
How it works
- 1A monthly schedule triggers the run.
- 2Brave Search collects the past month's category press.
- 3A Coda read pulls the prior month's stored narrative brief.
- 4A logic step pairs current coverage with the prior baseline.
- 5OpenAI drafts a rise/fade/emerging narrative diff with cited evidence.
- 6The comparison report is written to Coda as this month's new baseline.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect Brave SearchWeb, news, image, video search.
- 2Connect CodaDocs, packs, automations.
- 3Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
