  • OutputCreate Episodes page in Notion with all sectionsNotionNotion

What it does

Turns a raw episode recording into a publish-ready package: a full transcript, an episode summary, key takeaways, and timestamped chapter markers, all written into a single Notion page your team can edit before release.

When to use it

Use it when your show notes are the bottleneck. Drop the finished audio export into a watched Dropbox folder and the first draft of notes is waiting in Notion before you finish your coffee. Best for solo producers and small teams who edit in Notion.

How it works

  1. 1A new audio file appearing in the watched Dropbox folder fires the trigger.
  2. 2The file is downloaded and sent to OpenAI Whisper for speech-to-text, returning a timestamped transcript.
  3. 3OpenAI generates a structured draft: a two-paragraph summary, five key takeaways, and chapter markers derived from the timestamps.
  4. 4A new Notion page is created in the Episodes database with the transcript, summary, takeaways, and chapters in labeled sections.
  5. 5The page link is posted so an editor can review and polish before publishing.
