How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerFriday afternoon schedule
  • ActionQuery Notion for this week's published episodesNotionNotion
  • LogicStop run if no episodes published this week
  • ActionAssemble newsletter draft with intro and outroOpenAI
  • OutputEmail draft to host for approvalGmailGmail

What it does

Rolls up everything you published this week into one subscriber-ready newsletter draft: it pulls each episode's title, summary, and listen link, writes an intro and outro in your voice, and emails the formatted draft to the host.

When to use it

Use it if you batch a weekly listener email and dread assembling it by hand. It collects only episodes marked Published this week, so off-weeks produce nothing and busy weeks stay complete.

How it works

  1. 1A Friday afternoon schedule fires the trigger.
  2. 2Notion is queried for episodes with status Published and a publish date in the current week.
  3. 3A logic step ends the run early if no episodes were published, so you never send an empty digest.
  4. 4OpenAI assembles the episode blurbs into a single newsletter with a written intro, per-episode sections, and a sign-off.
  5. 5The draft is emailed to the host via Gmail for a final read before it goes to the list.
