How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerWebhook: confirmed pricing changeHTTP webhook
  • LogicMap tiers and evaluate guardrail rules
  • LogicExit silently if no rule breached
  • ActionOpen assigned pricing issueLinearLinear
  • OutputEscalate tagged alert to channelSlack

What it does

Not every competitor change deserves a fire drill — but a competitor pricing their comparable tier 20% under yours does. This template evaluates each detected change against your own published pricing and a set of guardrail rules (undercut threshold, free-tier parity, feature-gating limits) and fires a targeted escalation only when a rule trips.

When to use it

Use it when you want signal, not noise. It's the layer that turns a stream of raw diffs into the two or three alerts per quarter that actually require a pricing decision, routed to the owner who can make it.

How it works

  1. 1A webhook fires on each confirmed competitor pricing change.
  2. 2A logic step maps the changed tier to your comparable tier and evaluates the guardrail rules.
  3. 3If no rule is breached, the run exits silently.
  4. 4When a guardrail trips, a Linear issue is opened and assigned to the pricing owner with the breach details.
  5. 5A Slack escalation posts to the pricing channel, tagging severity and linking the Linear issue.
