AI AGENTS
Award Recommendation Digest
On demand, reviews all collected bids for an RFQ in Coda, generates a recommended award with reasoning, and posts a decision-ready summary to Slack for the buyer's approval.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerBuyer requests award digest for an RFQ
- ActionPull all bids for the RFQ from CodaCoda
- LogicDrop expired or non-compliant quotes
- ActionRank bids and write rationale with OpenAIOpenAI
- OutputPost award recommendation to SlackSlack
What it does
Turns a complete set of bids into a clear award recommendation. The agent reads every quote for an RFQ, weighs price against lead time and terms, and produces a concise 'recommend this supplier because' brief that lands in Slack ready for a buyer to approve or override.
When to use it
Use it once bidding is closed and you want a fast, defensible recommendation instead of eyeballing a spreadsheet, while keeping the human in the loop for the final call.
How it works
- 1A buyer manually triggers the digest for a specific RFQ.
- 2The flow pulls all bid rows for that RFQ from the Coda tracker.
- 3Logic filters out expired or non-compliant quotes against the spec.
- 4OpenAI ranks the remaining bids and writes a short rationale naming the recommended supplier, the runner-up, and the key trade-off.
- 5The recommendation, with an approve/override prompt, is posted to the procurement Slack channel; the chosen winner is marked 'recommended' in Coda.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect CodaDocs, packs, automations.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
