What it does

Adds a human checkpoint before a release goes wide. On publish, it drafts the announcement copy and banner, then posts an approval request to a private Discord staff channel. Only after a maintainer approves does it send the Outlook email blast and publish to your social platforms, so nothing customer-facing ships unreviewed.

When to use it

When announcements need sign-off before reaching customers and social audiences, but you still want the drafting done automatically the moment a changelog lands.

How it works

  1. 1A ReadMe changelog entry is published, firing the trigger.
  2. 2An OpenAI step drafts the email body and social caption from the entry.
  3. 3generate-image renders the launch banner.
  4. 4A Discord step posts the drafts plus banner to a staff channel and waits for an approval reaction.
  5. 5A logic step gates on approval; a rejection ends the run.
  6. 6On approval, the email blast sends via Outlook and the post publishes to social platforms.
