Cover a Rep's Accounts During PTO or Leave
When a rep is marked out-of-office in Monday, an agent temporarily hands their hot, time-sensitive accounts to a designated backup, notifies both reps.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerRep marked out-of-office in Mondaymonday.com
- ActionFind time-sensitive accounts in SalesforceSalesforce
- LogicFilter to deals inside the leave window
- ActionReassign accounts to backup repSalesforce
- OutputNotify both reps and schedule hand-back in SlackSlack
What it does
Prevents deals from going cold while a rep is out. The moment a rep's status flips to out-of-office in Monday, an agent identifies their accounts with near-term close dates or open tasks, reassigns those to the named backup rep in Salesforce, and queues a hand-back for the return date.
When to use it
Use it whenever reps take PTO, parental leave, or sick time and you can't afford active deals to stall. Best for teams that track availability in Monday and want zero manual coverage juggling.
How it works
- 1Trigger on a Monday status change to out-of-office, capturing the return date and named backup.
- 2Query Salesforce for the rep's accounts with a close date or open task inside the leave window.
- 3Branch: only the time-sensitive accounts move; dormant accounts stay put.
- 4Reassign those accounts to the backup rep in Salesforce with a temporary-coverage flag.
- 5DM both reps in Slack with the covered list and dates.
- 6Schedule the hand-back so ownership reverts automatically on the return date.
