CONTENT CREATION
Long-form video to platform-native shorts scripts
When a long-form video lands in Dropbox, transcribes it, finds the most clippable moments, and writes a tailored short-form script for each target platform.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew video file in Dropbox folderDropbox
- ActionTranscribe video with timestamps (OpenAI)OpenAI
- ActionScore transcript and select top clip momentsOpenAI
- ActionDraft platform-native script per clipOpenAI
- OutputWrite scripts to Notion review pageNotion
What it does
Turns a single long-form video upload into a set of ready-to-shoot short-form scripts, each adapted to the conventions of its destination platform (hook length, caption style, on-screen text cues). The output is a structured Notion page your editor can act on immediately.
When to use it
Run this when you produce one flagship video per week (a podcast episode, webinar, or YouTube long-form) and want to mine it for vertical shorts without watching the whole thing again. Best for teams who script clips before cutting them.
How it works
- 1A new video file in a watched Dropbox folder triggers the run.
- 2The file is downloaded and sent to OpenAI for transcription with timestamps.
- 3OpenAI scores the transcript for high-retention moments and selects the top candidate clips.
- 4For each clip, OpenAI drafts a platform-native script variant (one for vertical reels, one for a text-heavy carousel, one for a punchy hook-first cut).
- 5All scripts, with their source timestamps, are written to a new Notion page tagged for editor review.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect DropboxFiles and folders.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect NotionPages, databases, comments.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.

Watches a Notion blog database for posts flipped to 'Ready', splits the body into paragraphs, and generates a short B-roll video clip for each paragraph with Replicate.
On-demand: turn a blog URL into narrated B-roll clips
Accepts a blog URL via webhook, scrapes the article, generates a B-roll clip per paragraph with Replicate and a voiceover with ElevenLabs.
