Weekly batch repurpose of the video backlog
On a weekly schedule, scans Google Drive for unprocessed long-form videos, drafts shorts scripts for each, and posts a digest to Slack so the team can pick which to produce.

What it does
Runs once a week to clear your long-form video backlog. It finds any videos that haven't been repurposed yet, generates draft shorts scripts for each, and delivers a single Slack digest where the team triages what to make next.
When to use it
Ideal for teams sitting on a library of recorded webinars, talks, or streams who want a standing weekly ritual instead of ad-hoc repurposing. The Slack digest keeps the decision human while the drafting is automated.
How it works
- 1A weekly schedule triggers the run.
- 2Google Drive is searched for video files in the source folder not yet tagged as processed.
- 3If no new videos are found, the run exits quietly.
- 4Each unprocessed video is transcribed and summarized by OpenAI, which drafts two shorts scripts per video.
- 5Drafts are saved to Notion and each video is tagged processed in Drive.
- 6A digest with links to every draft is posted to Slack for the team to claim.
