How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerNotion card marked ApprovedNotionNotion
  • ActionRead clip URL and target platforms from pageNotionNotion
  • LogicGuard: clip exists and not already published
  • ActionPublish watermarked teaser to social platformsSocial publishing
  • OutputWrite permalinks and set Live in NotionNotionNotion

What it does

Closes the loop on an editorial workflow: when an approver checks Approved on a teaser card in Notion, the finished watermarked video is published to your channels and the live link is recorded on the page.

When to use it

Use when teaser assets are produced upstream and reviewed inside a Notion content calendar. This template handles only the approval-to-publish step, so approval lives where your editors already work instead of in a chat tool.

How it works

  1. 1A Notion database update where Approved becomes true triggers the run.
  2. 2The page is read to pull the watermarked clip URL and the target platform list.
  3. 3A guard confirms the clip exists and the page was not already published.
  4. 4The watermarked teaser is posted across the selected social platforms.
  5. 5The published permalinks are written back to the Notion page and Status is set to Live.
  6. 6A confirmation comment is added to the page so the approver sees it went out.
