Stale Task Owner Nudge with Auto-Reprioritize
Finds ClickUp tasks stalled past their due date, DMs each assignee on Slack asking whether to keep, reschedule, or drop it, and applies their reply back to ClickUp.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily nudge schedule fires
- ActionQuery overdue, inactive ClickUp tasksClickUp
- ActionDM assignees on Slack with keep/reschedule/dropSlack
- LogicBranch: responders vs non-responders
- ActionApply replies as status or due-date changesClickUp
- OutputAuto-downgrade priority on ignored tasksClickUp
What it does
Closes the loop on stalled work. For every overdue, untouched ClickUp task it sends the assignee a direct Slack message offering three choices — keep, reschedule, or drop — and writes their answer straight back to ClickUp. Tasks that get no response within the window are automatically downgraded in priority so they stop cluttering the active view.
When to use it
Use it when due dates are routinely blown and tasks just sit there because no one revisits them. It turns silent neglect into an explicit decision and keeps the active backlog focused on work people actually intend to do.
How it works
- 1A daily schedule starts the nudge run.
- 2The agent queries ClickUp for tasks past due with no recent activity.
- 3It DMs each assignee on Slack with keep, reschedule, and drop options.
- 4A branch waits for replies and separates responders from non-responders.
- 5Responders' choices are applied as status, due date, or close in ClickUp.
- 6Non-responding tasks are auto-downgraded in priority in ClickUp.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect ClickUpDocs + tasks + chats in one workspace.
- 2Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 3Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 4Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 5Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
