SUMMARIZATION
Unified Morning Brief from Slack and Meetings
Combines yesterday's long Slack threads and Zoom meeting recordings into one prioritized morning brief delivered to a Slack channel with an owner-tagged action list.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily morning schedule
- ActionCollect long Slack threadsSlack
- ActionCollect Zoom recordings + transcriptsZoom
- ActionSummarize, dedupe, and rank themesOpenAI
- OutputPost unified brief to SlackSlack
What it does
Merges two streams of asynchronous and synchronous discussion into a single daily read. It collects the high-traffic Slack threads and the prior day's recorded meetings, summarizes each source, then has an agent stitch them into one prioritized brief: top themes first, then a consolidated action list with owners. The brief is posted back to Slack so the whole team sees the same picture.
When to use it
Use it when context lives in both Slack and meetings and leaders want one source of truth each morning rather than checking two places. Best for cross-functional teams with heavy chat and frequent calls.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger fires each morning.
- 2Pull qualifying long threads from watched Slack channels.
- 3Pull completed Zoom recordings and their transcripts from the last day.
- 4The agent summarizes each source, deduplicates overlapping topics, and ranks themes by importance.
- 5It assembles a single brief with a consolidated, owner-tagged action list.
- 6Post the brief to the designated Slack channel.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 2Connect ZoomMeetings, recordings, transcripts.
- 3Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
