How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerAirtable row Status set to ApprovedAirtableAirtable
  • LogicGuard: staged file exists and not yet published
  • ActionCopy approved variant to /catalog/live in DriveGoogle DriveGoogle Drive
  • ActionStamp Airtable row with published URL and approverAirtableAirtable
  • OutputNotify catalog channel of live imageSlack

What it does

Closes the loop on the variant factory. The moment a reviewer flips an Airtable row to `Approved`, the workflow promotes that single variant from the staging folder to the published catalog folder in Google Drive and stamps the row with the publish time and approver.

When to use it

When background variants are generated and reviewed in Airtable, and you want approval to automatically publish the winning image without anyone hand-copying files or risking the wrong variant going live.

How it works

  1. 1An Airtable record update where `Status` changed to `Approved` triggers the run.
  2. 2A guard checks the variant still has a valid staged file reference and has not already been published.
  3. 3The approved variant is copied from its staged Dropbox path into the `/catalog/live` folder in Google Drive.
  4. 4The Airtable row is updated with the published Drive URL, approver, and timestamp.
  5. 5The output step notifies the catalog channel that the SKU now has a live hero image.
