  • OutputPost staging digest to SlackSlack

What it does

Turns raw product photos into a tidy review queue of on-brand background variants. Drop a cutout into a Dropbox folder and the workflow produces three staged variants (studio gradient, lifestyle, seasonal) and files them in Airtable with thumbnails and a Pending status for a human to approve.

When to use it

When your catalog team shoots products on a plain backdrop but needs multiple background treatments per SKU for different channels, and you want every generated option tracked rather than scattered across folders.

How it works

  1. 1A new file lands in the `/intake` Dropbox folder and fires the trigger.
  2. 2A filter confirms it is a supported image type and not a re-processed output.
  3. 3Replicate runs a background-replacement model three times against the three brand background prompts.
  4. 4Each generated variant is written back to a `/staged/<sku>` Dropbox subfolder.
  5. 5One Airtable row per variant is created with the SKU, variant name, thumbnail, and a `Pending review` status.
  6. 6The output step posts a single digest to the operator confirming how many variants were staged.
