Bounced-Champion Email Rebuild Play
Catches hard bounces on emails to key contacts (a signal they left), confirms the departure, and drafts a warm reconnection email to the next-best contact at the account.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerEmail bounce webhook receivedHTTP webhook
- LogicConfirm permanent bounce on tracked champion
- ActionMark contact inactive in SalesforceSalesforce
- ActionFind next-best account contactSalesforce
- ActionDraft reconnection emailOpenAI
- OutputCreate Gmail draft for repGmail
What it does
When an email to a tracked champion hard-bounces, this treats it as an early departure signal. It verifies the address is dead, marks the contact inactive in Salesforce, finds the strongest remaining contact on the account, and drafts a personalized reconnection email for the rep to review and send.
When to use it
Use it when reps email champions regularly and a sudden hard bounce is the first clue someone left. Instead of the rep noticing weeks later, you turn the bounce into an immediate, drafted rebuild action aimed at a warm secondary contact.
How it works
- 1An inbound bounce webhook from your mail system triggers the run.
- 2A logic step confirms the bounce is a permanent hard bounce on a tracked champion address.
- 3Update the Salesforce contact to Inactive and log the bounce on the account.
- 4Query Salesforce for the next-best active contact ranked by role and recent engagement.
- 5OpenAI drafts a short reconnection email referencing the account history and the departed champion.
- 6Create a Gmail draft addressed to the secondary contact for the rep to send.
