What it does

This runs a stateful support agent inside a Discord thread. Rather than answering once, it can ask clarifying questions, search your docs again with each reply, and work toward a resolution over several turns. It tracks its own confidence and progress. When it decides it can't resolve the issue, or the member explicitly asks for a person, it packages the whole transcript into a Front conversation for a human agent.

When to use it

Best for communities where questions are nuanced and rarely answered by a single doc lookup, so a one-shot bot frustrates people. The agent's ability to clarify and iterate resolves more cases on its own, and the Front handoff guarantees a clean, context-rich escalation when it can't.

How it works

  1. 1A new question or reply in a support thread triggers the agent.
  2. 2The agent reads the thread history and decides whether it needs to ask, search, or answer.
  3. 3It retrieves doc passages relevant to the current state of the conversation.
  4. 4A branch checks whether it can resolve confidently or should escalate.
  5. 5Resolve path: it replies in the Discord thread and continues the loop on the next message.
  6. 6Escalate path: it opens a Front conversation with the full transcript and notifies the member.
