What it does

Answers Discord support questions using your own documentation rather than guesswork. When a thread opens, the workflow embeds the question, retrieves the most relevant passages from a Postgres vector store of your docs, and posts a grounded reply that cites its sources. When the asker confirms with the 'solved' reaction, it archives the thread and stores the question-answer pair for future retrieval.

When to use it

Use it when answer accuracy matters and you already maintain product docs you want the bot to stay faithful to. It reduces hallucinated replies by constraining the bot to retrieved, citable content from your own knowledge base.

How it works

  1. 1A new support thread message triggers the run.
  2. 2Postgres is queried with the embedded question to retrieve the top matching doc passages.
  3. 3An OpenAI step composes a grounded answer that cites the retrieved sources.
  4. 4The cited answer is posted into the Discord thread.
  5. 5The flow waits for the 'solved' reaction from the asker.
  6. 6On confirmation, Discord archives the thread and the resolved pair is saved to Postgres.
