CONTENT CREATION
Quality-gate background cutouts and route low-confidence shots to Slack review
Removes backgrounds on Dropbox drops, scores each cutout's edge quality, auto-publishes clean ones to R2.

What it does
Adds a quality gate to background removal so bad cutouts never reach your storefront. After Replicate processes each Dropbox image, the workflow inspects the alpha mask for ragged edges or large holes. High-confidence results publish straight to R2; low-confidence ones get held back and sent to Slack with a preview for human judgment.
When to use it
Use it when product photos vary in lighting or background and automated cutouts occasionally fail on hair, glass, or reflective surfaces. This keeps the happy path fully automatic while putting a person in the loop only for the images that actually need it.
How it works
- 1A new Dropbox file starts the run.
- 2Replicate removes the background and returns the cutout plus its alpha mask.
- 3A scoring step measures mask coverage and edge cleanliness against a threshold.
- 4A branch sends passing images to R2 for immediate publishing.
- 5Failing images post to a Slack review channel with the preview and the source filename so an operator can approve or flag a reshoot.
