What it does

Turns a Dropbox dump of raw, inconsistent product shots into clean, high-resolution, transparent-background assets ready for your storefront — no manual editing.

When to use it

Use when a photographer or supplier drops phone-quality product photos into a shared folder and you need them resized, sharpened, and background-removed on a consistent spec before they go into the catalog.

How it works

  1. 1A new file landing in the Dropbox `/raw-product-photos` folder triggers the run.
  2. 2A filter check confirms the file is an image (JPG/PNG/HEIC) and skips anything else.
  3. 3Replicate runs a super-resolution model to upscale the image to a target dimension and sharpen detail.
  4. 4Replicate runs a background-removal model on the upscaled result to produce a transparent PNG.
  5. 5The finished asset is uploaded to the Dropbox `/catalog-ready` folder with a normalized filename.
  6. 6An Airtable row is created recording the original name, output URL, dimensions, and processed timestamp for tracking.
