What it does

Expands a single hero product photo into a complete set of catalog variants — multiple colorways and angles — all cleaned to the same spec, so one shoot covers an entire product line page.

When to use it

Use when you photograph one sample of a product but sell it in several colors or need consistent multi-angle shots, and re-shooting each variant isn't practical.

How it works

  1. 1A new file in the Google Drive `/approved-hero-shots` folder triggers the run.
  2. 2Replicate upscales the hero photo and removes its background to create a clean master.
  3. 3generate-image produces the requested color and angle variants from the master while preserving product shape.
  4. 4A check confirms each variant was generated; missing ones are flagged for manual follow-up.
  5. 5The full variant set is saved to a per-product subfolder in Google Drive.
  6. 6A Notion page is created or updated indexing every variant with its label and link for the catalog team.
