What it does

Finds the dates buried in contract language — auto-renewal triggers, termination windows, and required notice periods — and turns them into tracked, calendared deadlines. It computes the last safe date to give notice and sets a reminder before it, so a contract never silently renews because nobody read the fine print.

When to use it

Use it when your business signs recurring vendor or SaaS agreements with auto-renewal clauses and you've been burned (or nearly burned) by a renewal you meant to cancel. Ideal for finance and ops owners managing a growing vendor portfolio.

How it works

  1. 1A new agreement in the Dropbox vendor-contracts folder triggers the workflow.
  2. 2The document is downloaded and its text extracted.
  3. 3OpenAI extracts the renewal date, term length, notice-period length, and termination conditions, then computes the notice deadline.
  4. 4The dates are written to a Coda renewals tracker.
  5. 5A Google Calendar reminder is created a configurable number of days before the notice deadline, with the contract name and cancel-by date.
