What it does

Monitors public signals (funding rounds, acquisitions, leadership changes, new office openings) for accounts where you have a closed-lost opportunity, and turns a relevant signal into a reopened deal with a ready-to-send context packet.

When to use it

Use it when budget was the stated loss reason and a funding event likely changes that. Ideal for AEs sitting on a graveyard of "no budget" or "bad timing" losses who want the system to tell them exactly when to re-engage.

How it works

  1. 1A nightly schedule pulls all closed-lost opportunities from Salesforce with their account domains and original loss reasons.
  2. 2For each account, an Exa search looks for funding, M&A, or expansion news published in the last 30 days.
  3. 3A logic filter scores each hit for relevance and recency, dropping accounts with no material signal.
  4. 4For qualifying accounts, the deal is cloned to a new open opportunity in Salesforce, stamped with the trigger event and a generated re-engagement angle.
  5. 5A Slack message goes to the original opportunity owner with the signal, the old loss reason, and a suggested opener so they can act the same day.
