How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerFront 'follow-up' tag appliedFront
  • ActionFetch thread + participant emailFront
  • ActionSummarize and derive next step + due dateOpenAI
  • LogicMatch Attio person by email (create if missing)Attio
  • OutputCreate dated follow-up task in AttioAttio

What it does

This converts a human signal in Front into a tracked task in Attio. When a teammate applies a 'follow-up' tag to a conversation, the workflow reads the thread, distills the agreed next step and a due date, and creates that task against the right person record in Attio.

When to use it

Use it when reps triage in Front by tagging but track work in Attio. Tagging becomes the only action needed; the follow-up, its owner, and its deadline get created automatically with the full context attached.

How it works

  1. 1A Front webhook fires when the 'follow-up' tag is applied to a conversation.
  2. 2The flow fetches the conversation thread and the participant's email.
  3. 3OpenAI summarizes the exchange and proposes a next-step description plus a suggested due date.
  4. 4The flow finds the matching Attio person by email, creating the record if absent.
  5. 5A task is created on that person with the description, due date, and a link back to the Front conversation.
