What it does

Keeps Front in sync with HubSpot, not the other way around. When a contact's lifecycle stage changes in HubSpot, the workflow finds their open Front conversation and applies (and cleans up) the matching status tag, so agents always see CRM state at a glance.

When to use it

Use it when sales drives stage changes in HubSpot but support and CS work out of Front, and you want the inbox to reflect where each contact stands without anyone re-tagging by hand.

How it works

  1. 1A HubSpot webhook fires on a contact lifecycle-stage change.
  2. 2A mapping step translates the new stage into a Front tag name; unmapped stages are skipped.
  3. 3The flow searches Front for an open conversation with that contact's email.
  4. 4A branch handles the no-open-conversation case by exiting quietly.
  5. 5Front removes any prior stage tags on the conversation and applies the new one.
  6. 6A short confirmation is posted to the team's Slack ops channel for an audit trail.
