No Future Meeting Booked: Renewal Task Creator
Checks accounts approaching renewal for any scheduled future Outlook meeting and, when none exists, creates a follow-up task in Salesforce assigned to the account owner…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily schedule fires
- ActionQuery accounts in renewal windowSalesforce
- ActionSearch Outlook for future meetingsOutlook
- LogicKeep accounts with no scheduled meeting
- ActionCreate owner follow-up taskSalesforce
- OutputSlack nudge to ownersSlack
What it does
It catches the specific danger of a renewal coming up with nothing on the calendar. For accounts within the renewal window it asks one question — is there a future meeting booked in Outlook? — and when the answer is no, it creates an owner-assigned task in Salesforce so the gap gets worked before the renewal date arrives.
When to use it
Use it on books where renewals quietly approach without a touch scheduled. It turns calendar emptiness into an accountable task instead of a surprise at quarter close.
How it works
- 1A daily schedule starts the run.
- 2It queries Salesforce for accounts with a renewal date inside the upcoming window.
- 3For each account it searches Outlook for any future calendar event with that account's contacts.
- 4A logic branch keeps only accounts with zero scheduled future meetings.
- 5For those, it creates a Salesforce follow-up task assigned to the owner, due several days before the renewal date.
- 6It sends the owner a Slack nudge summarizing the new tasks.
