Agentic Outlook Reply Triage to CRM and Monday Board
An agent reads each inbound Outlook reply in full thread context, decides the correct CRM stage and next step, updates Salesforce, and posts a triage card to Monday.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew inbound reply in Outlook mailboxOutlook
- ActionPull full thread and match Salesforce dealSalesforce
- ActionAgent reasons over thread for stage and stepOpenAI
- ActionUpdate Salesforce stage and next stepSalesforce
- OutputPost triage card to Monday boardmonday.com
What it does
Instead of a fixed label-to-stage map, an agent reads the entire Outlook thread, reasons about where the deal truly stands, and decides the right Salesforce stage and next step. It then writes those changes and posts a triage card to a Monday board so sales ops can review ambiguous calls.
When to use it
Use it when replies are nuanced — multi-topic threads, conditional yeses, or buying-committee dynamics — and a simple keyword classifier mislabels too often. The agent handles context that rules cannot.
How it works
- 1A new reply arrives in the monitored Outlook mailbox and fires the trigger.
- 2The agent pulls the full thread and matches the Salesforce opportunity by contact.
- 3The agent reasons over the conversation to pick a stage, next step, and confidence level.
- 4Salesforce is updated with the chosen stage and a dated next-step task.
- 5A triage card is posted to Monday; low-confidence calls are tagged for human review.
