What it does
Runs every night and flags open Salesforce opportunities that have gone quiet — no logged calls, emails, or stage changes within the freshness window defined for their current stage. Instead of one giant report, it groups rotting deals by owner and sends each rep a personal Slack DM listing their at-risk deals, days since last touch, and amount.
When to use it
Use this when reps let mid-funnel deals drift and your pipeline review is full of surprises. It turns silent decay into a daily, owner-specific nudge so deals get worked or honestly closed.
How it works
- 1A nightly schedule fires the sweep.
- 2Query Salesforce for all open opportunities with last-activity date, stage, owner, and amount.
- 3A logic step compares each deal's days-since-activity against its stage's threshold (e.g. 7 days in Discovery, 21 in Negotiation) and keeps only the stale ones.
- 4Group the survivors by owner.
- 5Post each owner a Slack DM digest with their stale deals, age, and a suggested next action.
