Deal-Desk Monday Stage Change to Salesforce Quote Sync
Watches the Monday deal-desk board and, when an approver moves a card to Approved or Rejected, updates the linked Salesforce quote status and tells the rep in Slack.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerMonday card moved to Approved or Rejected stagemonday.com
- LogicBranch on stage and resolve Salesforce quote
- ActionUpdate Salesforce quote status and notesSalesforce
- OutputDM the rep the decision in SlackSlack
What it does
This closes the loop after a discount approval. When a deal-desk reviewer drags a Monday card into the Approved or Rejected stage, the workflow pushes that decision back to the originating Salesforce quote and notifies the submitting rep so they can act immediately.
When to use it
Use it when approvers live in Monday but reps live in Salesforce, and decisions take hours to make it back. It keeps the quote record authoritative and removes the manual copy-paste of approval outcomes.
How it works
- 1A Monday column-change event triggers when a deal-desk card enters the Approved or Rejected stage.
- 2A logic step branches on the new stage and pulls the linked Salesforce Opportunity ID from the card.
- 3For Approved, the workflow sets the quote to Approved and unlocks it for sending; for Rejected, it flags the quote and records the rejection note.
- 4The output direct-messages the rep in Slack with the decision, any approver comments, and next steps.
