Source-of-record drift watcher for stale approved decks
When the Airtable source-of-record table changes, re-checks previously approved board decks in Drive and alerts the team via Slack to any deck whose cited figures no longer match…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerSource-of-record record changes in AirtableAirtable
- ActionList previously approved decks in DriveGoogle Drive
- ActionExtract figures tied to changed recordsOpenAI
- LogicMark decks still valid or now stale
- OutputAlert owners of stale decks in SlackSlack
What it does
It watches the source spreadsheet, not the decks. When an authoritative figure is updated, it goes back through decks that were already approved and finds the ones that have silently gone stale, so an out-of-date deck is never re-sent.
When to use it
Use this when figures get restated after decks have circulated and you need to know which existing decks are now wrong, for example after a numbers correction or a late closing adjustment.
How it works
- 1A change to a record in the Airtable source-of-record table triggers the flow.
- 2The flow lists the previously approved decks tracked in the Drive board folder.
- 3For each deck, an OpenAI step extracts the figures tied to the changed source records.
- 4A logic step compares each affected figure against the new source value and marks decks as still valid or now stale.
- 5Stale decks, with the specific figures that drifted, are reported to Slack so owners can reissue corrected versions.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect AirtableBases, tables, views, automations.
- 2Connect Google DriveDocs, sheets, slides, files.
- 3Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 4Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 5Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 6Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 7Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
