PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Daily critical-path slip digest from Monday boards
Each morning, scans Monday.com project boards for milestones whose timeline now overlaps their deadline.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekday morning schedule
- ActionPull items, Dependency and Timeline columns from Monday boardsmonday.com
- LogicDetect milestones whose timeline meets or passes the deadline
- LogicCollect downstream dependents and group by assignee
- OutputEmail a per-lead slip digestOutlook
What it does
Every morning this template sweeps your Monday.com boards, recomputes the critical path from the Dependency column, and finds milestones whose timeline has crept up to or past their committed end date. For each, it lists the downstream items that inherit the delay and emails a per-lead digest.
When to use it
Use it when leadership wants a predictable daily heartbeat on schedule risk rather than ad-hoc fire drills. It turns scattered board edits made during the day into one clean morning readout per project owner.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger fires each weekday morning.
- 2The flow pulls all items and their Dependency and Timeline columns from the configured Monday boards.
- 3It identifies milestones where the timeline end now meets or exceeds the deadline, marking them slipping.
- 4For each slipping milestone it collects the chain of dependent items downstream and groups them by assignee.
- 5A per-lead email digest goes out via Outlook with the at-risk milestone, the blocked downstream items, and the projected new finish date.
