CHATBOTS
Promote a mod-approved Discord answer into the FAQ when reacted with a checkmark
When a moderator adds a checkmark reaction to a helpful answer in a thread, the bot captures that question-and-answer pair and writes it into the Postgres FAQ so the bot can…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerApproval reaction added to a messageDiscord
- LogicIs the reactor a mod and the emoji the checkmark?
- ActionFetch originating question and approved answerDiscord
- ActionRewrite into a clean FAQ entryOpenAI
- ActionInsert entry into Postgres knowledge basePostgres
- OutputConfirm in thread that the answer was addedDiscord
What it does
Lets moderators curate the knowledge base with a single reaction. When a mod marks a thread reply with the approval checkmark, the bot grabs the originating question and the approved answer, cleans them into a tidy FAQ entry, and inserts it into Postgres. The next member who asks gets an instant grounded reply instead of another escalation.
When to use it
When good answers happen organically in moderator threads and you want to harvest them without a separate copy-paste workflow. It makes growing the FAQ a zero-friction byproduct of mods doing their normal support work.
How it works
- 1A reaction-added event with the approval emoji triggers the flow.
- 2A branch confirms the reactor holds the moderator role and the emoji is the configured checkmark.
- 3The bot fetches the thread's originating question and the reacted answer message.
- 4An LLM call rewrites the pair into a clean, reusable question-and-answer FAQ entry.
- 5The flow inserts the new entry into the Postgres knowledge base.
- 6The bot replies in the thread confirming the answer was added to the FAQ.
